The 3D design is a discipline that derives from graphic design but uses the resources of the industrial design and 3D, in terms of understanding the space in a three-dimensional scope, this increases the amount of resources and possibilities that can be used at the time to design.

A 3D chart differs from a two-dimensional one mainly because of the way it has been generated. This type of graphics is originated through a process of mathematical calculations about three-dimensional geometric entities produced in a computer, and whose purpose is to achieve a visual projection in two dimensions to be shown on a screen or printed on paper but with a feeling of having 3D, meaning depth.

In the last years the 3D has experienced an increase in the number of applications for which it is necessary, increasing at the same time, its relevance within the world of graphic design.
